Induction
Before you start your course, you will have an induction. This is a session designed to cover all aspects of college life, course requirements, and our obligations and expectations. You will also meet staff and get an overview of the support services available to you. There will be a chance for you to ask any questions you have about studying at Blue Lotus College.
Learner and Study Support
Stress, financial, health, family, and relationship issues can all affect your ability to get the most out of your studies. If you feel that your work is suffering because of personal problems, please speak to your trainer or any member of our support team so that we can help. External counseling is available for learners who need further assistance. Accessing external support services may incur fees.
Our priority is to make sure that Learners reach their potential, and we carefully monitor progress to ensure that they do not fall behind on course requirements. Where consistent or consecutive incidents of non-attendance are identified, or a learner has failed to satisfactorily complete assessments, they will be contacted regarding their support needs. Meetings and interventions will be conducted where necessary. If you are having any difficulties, we ask that you contact Student Services at the earliest opportunity so that we can support you in the best way possible.
