Academic requirements:
Satisfactory completion of the equivalent of an Australian Year 12 or Certificate IV or higher conducted in English
Language, Literacy and Numeracy test (LLN)
All Learners are required to undertake an Blue Lotus language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) test.
Pre-training Review
All Learners will undertake pre-training review which aims to identify their training needs through questions on previous education or training, basic computing skills and interview conducted by BLC enrolment officer. Interview also aims to identify possible RPL opportunities.
Through pre-training review Learner will demonstrate that they have necessary skills to successfully complete the course.
Basic computing skills
Learner are required to have basic computer skills including operating MS-word and doing research on internet since course will require Learner to make reports in MS word, Excel, power point presentation.
Learners undertaking Diploma of accounting courses must be able to operate accounting software e.g. Xero or MYOB
Age requirements
All leaners must be 18 years of age at the time of enrolment and need to provide evidence of age.
Materials and Equipment Required
All courses offered at Blue Lotus include research and use of internet and computer to complete assessment tasks.
Although Blue Lotus will provide Laptops with required resource during classroom hours however to work on assignments and tasks for self-study, all leaners are expected to have basic computing skills as well as access to a computer (desktop or laptop) with the Windows 7 operating system or higher, and a reliable internet connection. Students must have an active email address for communication and be contactable by phone (mobile or landline) and by mail (postal address).
All leaners are expected to have access to a word processing application such as Microsoft Word, an email platform such as Microsoft.

ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps.
Anzac Day falls on the 25th of April each year. The 25th of April was officially named Anzac Day in 1916.
On the 25th of April 1915, Australian and New Zealand soldiers formed part of the allied expedition that set out to capture the Gallipoli peninsula. These became known as Anzacs and the pride they took in that name continues to this day.
The Anzacs landed on Gallipoli and met fierce resistance from the Ottoman Turkish defenders. Their plan to knock Türkiye out of the war quickly became a stalemate and the campaign dragged on for eight months.
At the end of 1915, the allied forces were evacuated. Both sides suffered heavy casualties and endured great hardships. Over 8,000 Australian soldiers were killed.
The meaning of Anzac Day today includes the remembrance of all Australians killed in military operations.
